IN THE NEWS
Townwest Sertoma Club Member
Rick Westcott announced on June
29th that he will be seeking
re-election to the City of Tulsa
City Council District 2 Post in
the September primary election,
November general election. Rick
has been a faithful Sertoman,
supporting our projects and
lending a hand whenever he can.
SHARP NEWS
In May 2009 two hearing aids
were fitted and eight
applications were processed with
seven approved and one
disapproved. At the June
meeting two aids were donated,
one presentation was made at
Community Care hearing
screening, and nine apps were
reviewed. We met at the
Sterling House in Broken Arrow
where SHARP board member Dave
Jones had recently moved due to
failing mobility. The July
2nd meeting will be at the
Reynolds home.
SHARP is seeking new and used
hearing aids for the recycling
program. Can you hear us?
If so, you can be thankful for
the gift of hearing that many of
our friends and relatives don't
have.
