FRIDAY ACTIVITIES

Golf Tournament:  
The only "Organized Birdies" you will get to see this year are the ones in the air.  There has not been enough interest to pull together a tournament staff.  Sorry!  Maybe next year.

Registration:  Registration forms have been mailed to your club officers.  We will also be sending out e-mail updates and reminders.

Hospitality: 
Yes, there will be a hospitality room on Friday evening and Saturday evening.  Look for the signs to the room, and then follow them. The room will be staffed by Southside Sertoma Club of Tulsa. 

Dining and Recreation: 
The Western Hills Lodge has a full menu for meals.  You will receive a ticket for a Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and Saturday dinner with a full registration.  Guests will need to purchase a ticket (sometimes you can find a member who may not be able to make a dinner date and score a ticket for your guest).

COMPUTER TRAINING Townwest Sertoma Club Members will be offering individual/small group computer training during the Saturday afternoon break.  This will be a good time to have many of your computer questions answered.  Topics will range from website, photos, newsletters, or other topics you may have questions about. Welcome Dennis Lawler, Sertoma President Elect

Dennis Lawler is a  member of the Liberty Sertoma Club in Liberty, Missouri since 1989.  He has held all club offices, including club president in 1997 and is currently serving as a  board member. Dennis has received many club awards including the Gem, Centurion, Tribune and Senator XVIII, as well as the Sertoma Service 400 awards . Dennis was the club's 1998 Sertoma of the Year recipient and also received the Community Achievement Award in 1996.  Has been a Life Member since 1997, he has been an active supporter of the Annual Fund at Fellow or Benefactor level for the last 15 years.  In 2000, Dennis served the North Missouri District as Governor for 2 years and received Distinguished Governor for both years.  Dennis began his International Sertoma service in 2003 as the International Director of the Midwest Region.  During this two-year term, he also served as a member of the Finance Committee and as Sergeant-at-Arms of the International Board. Dennis continued his service  as Sertoma's International Treasurer, chairing the Finance Committee, Community Service Matching Grants Committee, and also sat on the Foundation Board as a Trustee. Currently, Dennis is President-Elect of Sertoma, Inc. chairing Development Committee (Annual Fund).  Dennis and his wife, Judy, have been married for 38 years and have a son and daughter and have 3 grandchildren.
